The Courthouse has reopened but access is limited due to social distancing practices.

Staff has returned to the Courthouse, however, access is still limited. Please call before you come for instruction.

UPDATE: Courthouse Staff Further Limited (4/6/2020)
In accordance with Governor Parson’s statewide “Stay Home Missouri” order the Callaway County Courthouse will continue to minimize the physical presence of employees in our offices.  Please call before you come for instruction.

UPDATE: The April 7 Municipal Election has officially been postponed until June 2, 2020. (3/18/2020)
Pursuant to Governor Mike Parson’s Executive Order 20-02 declaring a state of emergency in response to COVID-19 and a request from Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, Governor Parson today signed Executive Order 20-03 ordering all Missouri municipal elections previously scheduled for April 7, 2020, to be postponed to June 2, 2020. The Executive Order declares that ballots already printed for the April 7 election may be used at the postponed date of June 2. Absentee ballots that are cast at this time are valid and will be counted on June 2. Voters who have attained the age of 18 by April 7 will be allowed to cast a ballot. The voter registration deadline for this Election remains March 11. The deadline to apply for a mail absentee ballot will be May 20 and in-person absentee voting will stay open until 5 PM on June 1.

UPDATE: Election Judge Training sessions canceled. (3/17/2020)
Notice has been sent to all confirmed April appointments stating that all scheduled sessions for Election Judge training in March are canceled. Due to the postponement of the election, new confirmation of availability forms will be mailed out as we approach May 1.
