9:00 am The Callaway County Commission will meet to discuss an extension of the Juvenile victims advocate grant and to discuss a code of ethics policy.

 The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann, Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst, and Western District Commissioner Roger Fischer present.

 Extension of Juvenile Victims Advocate Grant

The Callaway County Commission met to discuss the extension of a Juvenile Victims Advocate grant and to discuss a Code of Ethics policy. Western District Commissioner Roger Fischer joined the meeting at 9:11am. Denise Hubbard, County Clerk, was also present for this meeting.

 

First, the Commission discussed the extension of a Juvenile Victims Advocate grant. Commissioner Jungermann explained that the original grant expired July 1, 2017. The extension will continue the grant through September 30, 2017. The additional grant amount with this extension is $8,277.37.

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst made a motion to accept the extension of the Juvenile Victims Advocate grant, effective July 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017, in the amount of $8,277.37 and to authorize the electronic signature of Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann in order to accept the extended agreement.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion.

All in favor.., ayes have it. Court Order #76 — signed.

 Court Order #76 — Extension of Juvenile Victims Advocate Grant

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby approve the extension of the Juvenile Victims Advocate grant, effective July 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017, in the amount of $8,277.37 and authorizes the electronic signature of Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann in order to accept the extended agreement.

 Code of Ethics Policy

 Next, the Commission discussed the continuation of the Code of Ethics policy. This policy must be adopted biannually in order to stay in compliance with RSMo 105.485.

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst made a motion to continue the Missouri Ethics Commission’s Code of Ethics policy regarding the annual filing of personal financial disclosure statements, per RSMo 105.485. This continuation is an update to Court Order #102, dated August 4, 2015.

 

Western District Commissioner Roger Fischer seconded the motion. All in favor… ayes have it. Court Order #77 — signed.

Court Order #77 — Code of Ethics Policy

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby continue the Missouri Ethics Commission’s Code of Ethics policy regarding the annual filing of personal financial disclosure statements, per RSMo 105.485. This continuation is an update to Court Order #102, dated August 4, 2015.

This order must be adopted biannually at any open meeting.

 Hazard Mitigation Plan Meeting

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann attended a Mid-Missouri RPC (Regional Planning Commission) meeting in Ashland, Missouri to discuss a Hazard Mitigation Plan.

 County Sheriff’s Fees Filed

 Now on this day comes Clay Chism, County Sheriff, and files his report of fees collected by his department for the month of July, 2017. Said report was examined and ordered filed by the Clerk of the Commission.

 Adjourn

 Ordered that the Commission adjourn until Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
