11:00am The Callaway County Commission will meet to open bid #14 (Salt).

2:00pm The Callaway County Commission will meet with Sharon Lynch, County Health Department Director, and Leah Laramore, HR Director, to discuss personnel issues and the Summer Feeding contract.  This meeting will possibly be a closed session meeting per RSMo 610.021.3.

The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann Western District Commissioner Roger Fischer, and Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst present.

 

Business of a general nature was conducted on this day.

 

 

Open Bid #14 (Salt)

11:00am

 

The Callaway County Commission met with Paul Winkelmann, County Road and Bridge Engineer, to open bid #14 (Rock). Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst was absent for this meeting. 0th Goldman was present representing the County Clerk’s office

 

The County received six salt bids; Independence Salt bid $76.25 a ton, Gunther Salt bid $98.00 a ton. Hutchinson Salt bid $81.87 a ton. Central Salt bid $86.35 a ton, Compass Minerals bid $84.11 a ton, and Cargill bid $84.55 a ton. Mr. Winkelmann is going to put together a spreadsheet on all the bidders. The group will award the bid at a late, date

Leadership Callaway

Presiding Commissioner Jungermann attended a luncheon with Leadership Callaway at Memorial Park in Fulton, Missouri.

 

Summer Food Service Program and Personnel Issue

The Callaway County Commission met with Sharon Lynch, County Health Department Director, and Mylene Dunn, Environmental Public Health Specialist, to discuss the 2017 Summer Food Service Program. The Commission is also meeting with Mrs. Lynch and Leah Laramore, HR Director, to discuss a personnel issue Denise Hubbard was present representing the County Clerk’s office.

 

The 2017 Summer Food Service Program is program that allows the County to do food inspections on locations that serve lunches to kids when school is not in session. The County is paid to do these inspections by the State.

 

Western District Commissioner Fischer made a motion to enter into a contract with the 2017 Summer Food Service Program for the dates of May 15, 7017 through September 15, 2017 and authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation on behalf of the County.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst seconded the motion. All in favor.., ayes have it. Court Order #40 signed.

 

Court Order #40 2017 Summer Food Service Program

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby enter into a contract with the 2017 Summer Food Service Program for the dates of May 15, 2017 through September 15, 2017 and authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation on behalf of the County.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst made a motion to enter into a closed session per RSMo 6100213.

 

Western District Commissioner Fischer seconded. Roll Call Vote:

Eastern District Commissioner -Yes Western District Commissioner – Yes Presiding Commissioner – Yes

 

Closed Session

 

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst made a motion to go back into open cession. Western District Commissioner Fischer seconded the motion
