2:00pm The Callaway County Commission will meet with Melissa Carr from the Library Board to discuss Library Board appointments.  The Commission will also discuss the Reform Cemetery lock box and lagoon variance.

Tuesday, February 14, 2017

 

The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann, Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst, and Western District Commissioner Roger Fischer present.

 

Business of a general nature was conducted on this day.

 

Chamber Meeting

12:00pm

 

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann attended a meeting at the Callaway County Chamber office in Fulton, MO.

 

Library Board Meeting

2:00pm

 

The Callaway County Commission met with Melissa Carr, Library Board Director, and Mary Fennel, Library Board Member, to discuss filling a spot on the Library Board. No one from the Clerk’s Office was present at this meeting.

 

Sherry Wolz resigned from the Library Board. There are two applicants to fill her position; Brian Warren and Jen Meyerhoff. Ms. Carr thinks both applicants would be a good fit. Mr. Warren has good business sense and Ms. Meyerhoff is a local woman and she has early childhood education knowledge.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst made a motion to appoint Brian Warren to replace the position that Sherry Wolz resigned from and to carry out the remainder of her term which runs through June 2020.

 

Western District Commissioner Fischer seconded the motion.

 

All in favor… ayes have it. Motion carries. Court Order #16 signed.

 

Court Order #16- Library Board

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby appoint Brian Warren to the Library Board to fulfill the remainder of Sherry Wolz’s term which runs through June of 2020. The Library Board appointments are as follows:

Sewer Variance

The Callaway County Commission met with Kent Wood, County Environmental Public Health, to discuss a sewer variance. No one from the Clerk’s office was present for this meeting.

 

Bruce McDaniel needs a 50-foot variance along his northeastern property line.

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst made a motion to accept the 50-foot sewer variance for Bruce McDaniel along the northeastern property line of his property at 3045 State Road AA in Holts Summit, Missouri.

 

Western District Commissioner Fischer seconded the motion.

 

All in favor… ayes have it. Motion carries. Court Order #15 signed.

 

Court Order #15- Sewer Variance

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby accept the sewer variance for Bruce McDaniel, owner of property 3045 State Road AA in Holts Summit, Missouri.

 

The recommendation of a 50-foot variance along the northeastern property line for construction of a new wastewater lagoon system to bring this property into compliance with the Callaway County Ordinance 701.

 

Reform Cemetery Lockbox

The Callaway County Commission met to discuss the Reform Cemetery lockbox. No one from the County Clerk’s Office was present for this meeting.

 

On January 26, 2017 a meeting was held and the authorized people on the Reform Cemetery lockbox list was redone. Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer was removed and Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst was added to the list. Since that meeting Tommy Klick wants to remove Commissioner’s from the list and leave everyone else the same.

 

Western District Commissioner Fischer made a motion to remove Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst from the Reform Cemetery lockbox list.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst seconded the motion. All in favor… ayes have it. Motion carries. Court order #17 signed.

 

Court Order #17- Reform Cemetery

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby remove Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst as an authorized person to open lock box #1194 for the Reform Cemetery. The list of appointed persons authorized to open lock box #1194 is as follows:

Amy Joann Klick

Jason Power
