The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann and Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst present. Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer was absent.
Award Bid #21
The Callaway County Commission met with Clay Chism, County Chief Investigator, and Darryl Maylee, Callaway County’s Chief Deputy Sheriff, to award bid # 21. Deb Goldman was present representing the County Clerk’s Office.
The County has received a bid from Joe Machens, if the vehicles are ordered by December 30, 2016 the price is $26,867.00 each, if the vehicles are ordered after December 30, 216 the price is $27,626.00 each. The new state bid is not out, the 2016 state bid is $26,241 each plus a $995 per vehicle prep cost and $1.50 per mile both way delivery fee from the St. Louis area.
Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst made a motion to accept the bid from Joe Machens for four vehicles at $26,867.00 each and delivered and authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign on behalf of the county.
Presiding Commissioner Jungermann seconded the motion.
All in favor… ayes have it. Court Order # 122 signed.
Court Order # 122- 2017 Ford SUV Police Interceptors
Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby authorize the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office to purchase four (4) 2017 Ford SUV Police Interceptors from Joe Machens. The purchase price for each vehicle is $26,867.00 for a total of $107,468.00. The Callaway County Commission also hereby authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation for the purchase of these vehicles.
Road and Bridge Christmas Lunch
The Callaway County Commission attended a Christmas lunch for the Callaway County Road and Bridge Department at the Callaway County Health Department meeting room.
Ordered that the Commission adjourn until Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
