 The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann, Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst, and Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer present.

 Sewer Variance

The Callaway County Commission met with Paul Winkelmann, County Road and Bridge Engineer, to discuss a sewer variance and Road and Bridge equipment purchases. Deb Goldman was present representing the County Clerk’s Office.

Brenda Vandeloecht is requesting a 65-foot sewer variance along the north/west property line of her property. Her neighbor Terry Vandeloecht has agreed to grant the variance.

Western District Commissioner Kritzer made a motion to authorize a sewer variance to Brenda Vandeloecht at 3851 State Road H proposed and approved by Kent Wood, with appropriate documents signed by her neighbor.

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst seconded the motion. Court order 127 signed.

Court Order 127- Sewer Variance for Brenda Vandeloecht

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby accept the sewer variance for Brenda Vandeloecht, owner of property 3851 State Route H in Fulton, Missouri.

The recommendation of a 65-foot variance along the north/west property line for upgrades to an existing wastewater lagoon system to bring this property into compliance with the Callaway

County Ordinance 701.

 

Road and Bridge Equipment Purchases

 

Mr. Winkelmann would like for Road and Bridge to purchase a 672G motor grader and vpic for $185,500.00 from John Deere who has the state bid. John Deere is willing to give $45,000.00 for trade in if the County can’t sell the equipment for any more than that. Mr. Winkelmann is going to list the equipment on govdeals.com.

 

Western District Commissioner Kritzer made a motion to authorize the purchase of a new 672G motor grader 2017 model paid for out of the 2017 budget. The net price is with $45,000.00 trade in is $183,500.00 plus $2,000.00 for a vpic for a total of $185,500.00. He also authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign on behalf of the County.

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst seconded the motion. Court Order 128 signed.

 Court Order 128- Motor Grader Purchase

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby authorize the purchase of a 672G motor grader and vpic in the amount of $185,500.00 with trade allowance from John Deere. The Callaway County Commission does also hereby authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation for this purchase on behalf of the County.

The Commission also discussed purchasing a new cab tractor and boom mower. John Deere has the state bid on the tractor and the Alamo boom mower is what Road and Bridge currently has. They are pleased with the quality of the Alamo.

 

Western District Commissioner Kritzer made a motion to authorize purchase for a new John Deere 6110M Cab Tractor through MODOT and the Alamo Machete-2 for a net price, with $18,000.00 trade in, of $117,635.38 with contract from Larson Farm and Lawn in Jefferson City, Missouri. He also authorizes Presiding Commissioner Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation for this purchase on behalf of the County.

Eastern District Commissioner Kleindienst seconded the motion. Court Order 129 signed.

 Court Order 129- Cab Tractor and Boom Mower

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby authorize the purchase of a John Deere 6110M cab tractor and Alamo Machete-2 in the amount of $117,635.38 with trade in allowance through the National Joint Powers Alliance, member number 111907. The Callaway County Commission does also hereby authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign any necessary documentation for this purchase on behalf of the County.

 Vendor Checks Issued

 Vendor checks were issued in the amount of $231,364.23.

 Ordered that the Commission adjourn until Friday, December 30, 2016
