The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann and Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst present. Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer was absent.

CART Contract

The Callaway County Commission met to discuss a CART contract with the Missouri Department of Conservation and an AT&T contract. Deborah Goldman was also present for this meeting to represent the County Clerk’s office.

First, the Commission discussed a CART contract with the Missouri Department of Conservation the CART program allows local government to be reimbursed for rock used or county roads that meet conservation areas. The Department of Conservation is offering to reimburse Callaway County for rock used on 30.8 miles of toad within the County for a total of $53,900. The contract will be effective until June 30, 2016.

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst made a motion to enter into a CART agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation for areas within Callaway County that join conservation areas, effective for fiscal year 2016. Commissioner Kleindienst also made a motion to authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the agreement on behalf of the County.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion.

Court Order #38 – CART Agreement with Missouri Department of Conservation

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby enter into a CART agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation for reimbursement of the cost of rock used on county roads that join conservation areas within Callaway County. This agreement is in the amount of $53,900 and is effective until June 30, 2016. The Callaway County Commission does also hereby authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the agreement on behalf of the County.

AT&T Contract

Next, the Commission discussed an AT&T contract that covers the Callaway County Law Enforcement Center. The previous contract for these phone lines has expired. Last month, Callaway County was charged double for these lines because it was out of contract. If the contract is renewed for another year, the excessive charges from last month will be credited to Callaway County and the cost for these lines will return to the prior rates

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst made a motion to enter into a one-year contract with AT&T for the Callaway County Law Enforcement Center’s phones lines and to authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the contract on behalf of the County.

Court Order #39 – AT&T Contract

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby enter into a contract with AT&T for the phone lines at the Callaway County Law Enforcement Center and authorizes Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the contract on behalf of the County.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann attended a RPC (Regional Planning Commission) meeting in Ashland, Missouri.
