The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann and Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer present. Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst was absent.
Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann attended a Callaway County Chamber of Commerce Roundtable Discussion with other local leaders at Callaway Electric Cooperative.
2017/2018 Dispatch Contract
The Callaway County Commission met with John Bassford and Gerry Rauch, Ameren, to discuss the 2017/2018 dispatch contract. Deborah Goldman was also present for this meeting to represent the County Clerk’s office.
Mr. Rauch presented the Commission with the 2017-2018 dispatch contract, as discussed at the groups last meeting on September 19, 2016. The contract amount has been increased from $255,000 per year to $260,000 per year. Commissioner Jungermann mentioned that these contracts with Ameren and with other local entities allow for the Callaway County Emergency Operations Center (911 Center & Emergency Management Department) to be funded.
Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer made a motion to approve the 2017-2018 dispatch contract with Ameren in the amount of $260,000 for each year and to authorize the Callaway County Commission to sign the contract on behalf of the County.
Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion. All in favor…ayes have it. Court Order #104 — signed.

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby approve the 2017-2018 dispatch contract with Ameren in the amount of $260,000 for each year and authorizes the Callaway County Commission to sign the contract on behalf of the County.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Missouri Women’s Business Center at the Callaway County Chamber of Commerce.
