 The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann and Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer present. Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst was absent.

 Health Department Issues

The Callaway County Commission met with Sharon Lynch, County Health Department

Administrator, to discuss Health Department issues. A representative from the County Clerk’s office was not present for this meeting.

First, Mrs. Lynch presented the Commission with a Chronic Disease Primary Prevention contract with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services. This contract allows Pam Phelps to fund her Rush Hour pilot program, which emphasizes being healthy in body, mind, and spirit. The contract amount is $15,000 and goes toward Mrs. Phelps’ salary and supplies/equipment for the Rush Hour classes.

Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer made a motion to enter into a contract with the Department of Health & Senior Services for a Chronic Disease Primary Prevention program in the amount of $15,000, effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. Commissioner Kritzer also moved to authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the contract on behalf of the County.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion.

All in favor…ayes have it. Court Order #102 — signed.

Next, Mrs. Lynch presented the Commission with an Environmental Child Care Sanitation Inspection Participation agreement with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services. This agreement allows the Health Department to be reimbursed for inspecting child care centers. The estimated reimbursement is $4,100 per year.

Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer made a motion to enter into a contract with the Department of Health & Senior Services for an Environmental Child Care Sanitation Inspection Participation Agreement (ECCSIPA), effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2019. The reimbursement amounts outlined in this agreement include $120 for annual inspections, $70 for reinspections, and $30 for special circumstances inspections, which will result in approximately $4,100 in reimbursements per year. Commissioner Kritzer also moved to authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the contract on behalf of the County.

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion.

 Court Order #102 — Chronic Disease Primary Prevention Contract with DHSS

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby enter into a contract with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services for a Chronic Disease Primary Prevention program in the amount of $15,000, effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. The Callaway County Commission does also hereby authorize Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann to sign the contract on behalf of the County.

 Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby enter into a contract with the

 Extension Council Meeting

 6:00pm

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann attended a University of Missouri Extension Council meeting at the Extension office in Fulton, Missouri.

 Ordered that the Commission adjourn until Thursday, October 13, 2016.
