Update on County CTC Systems
The Callaway County Commission met with Rick Nickelson and Jim Johnson, EPM, to discuss an update on the CTC (Computerized Temperature Control) systems in County facilities. A representative from the County Clerk’s office was not present for this meeting.
Mr. Nickelson first presented the Commission with a report of operations for the Courthouse CTC system. He briefly explained that the system was installed in July, 2008 for a cost of approximately $33,500. The County earned a full payback of the installation cost through
savings in utility costs in 25 months. To date, the County has saved over $120,000 in utility costs since the Courthouse system was implemented.
Next, Mr. Johnson stated that since the CTC system was installed at the Callaway County Law Enforcement Center, he has known of only one instance where there was an issue with the system. He explained that the sensors in the kitchen and the booking area, which are tied together, were not set correctly; however, the issue has since been fixed.
Vendor Checks Issued
Vendor checks were issued in the amount of $195,452.80.
