The Callaway County Commission met with the Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann, Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst, and Western District Commissioner Donald Kritzer present.

 

Sewer Variance

The Callaway County Commission met to discuss a sewer variance and surplus money from the 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale. Deborah Goldman was present for this meeting to represent the

County Clerk’s office.

 

First, the Commission discussed a sewer variance (Commissioner Kritzer was not present for this discussion). Kent Wood, County Environmental Public Health, was present for this discussion. He explained to the Commission that a 40-foot variance is needed for a property owned by Roger and Darrell Atterberry in order to bring the property into compliance with the County’s ordinance. The neighbor has agreed to the variance along this property line.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst made a motion to accept the sewer variance for Roger and Darrell Atterberry, owners of property 4835 County Road 421 in Fulton, Missouri. A 40-foot variance along the northern property line will bring this property into compliance with Callaway County Ordinance 701.

 

Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann seconded the motion.

 

All in favor…ayes have it. Court Order #61 — signed.

 

Court Order #61 — Sewer Variance for Roger & Darrell Atterberry

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby accept the sewer variance for Roger and Darrell Atterberry, owners of property 4835 County Road 421 in Fulton, Missouri.

The recommendation of a 40-foot variance along the northern property line for the construction of a wastewater system will bring this property into compliance with Callaway County Ordinance 701.

 

Surplus Money from the 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale

 

Next, the Commission discussed surplus money from the 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale. The owner has redeemed the property and the surplus from the sale is needed to reimburse the individuals who bid on the property during the 2015 Tax Sale.

 

Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer made a motion to authorize Debbie Zerr, County Treasurer, to refund $2,152.52 to Pam Oestreich, County Collector. This is tax sale surplus money that was turned over to the Treasurer on September 22, 2015 (Receipt #3780) as unclaimed surplus from the 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale. The surplus is for Clarence and Courtney Coffelt. The owner, Karen Sapp, has redeemed the property and the surplus from the sale is needed to complete the transaction.

 

Eastern District Commissioner Randy Kleindienst seconded the motion.

 

All in favor…ayes have it. Court Order #62 — signed.

 

Court Order #62 — 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale — Surplus for Clarence & Courtney Coffelt

 

Now on this day, the Callaway County Commission does hereby authorize Debbie Zerr, County Treasurer, to refund $2,152.52 to Pam Oestreich, County Collector.

 

This is tax sale surplus money that was turned over to the County Treasurer on September 22,

2015 (Receipt #3780) as unclaimed surplus from the 2015 Land Tax Certificate Sale.

 

This surplus is for Clarence and Courtney Coffelt. The owner, Karen L Sapp, has redeemed the property and the surplus from the sale is needed to complete the transaction.

 

Vendor Checks Issued

 

Vendor checks were issued in the amount of $94,198.59.
